Sightlines (2016- )

Sightlines - Hong Kong is a collective project. It is a collaboration with artists C&G Artpartment, Kinchoi Lam, Lam Wing Sze, and South Ho Siu Nam, conceptualised by Michelle Wong and myself.

Taking the Umbrella Movement as a departure point, the project uses 360 vision and virtual reality technology in conversation between artists and society to explore the relationship between aesthetics, politics and technology in the city, and the condition of living in Hong Kong today. The project began in 2016, and has had two iterations, culminating in an exhibition at 41 Ross with the San Francisco Chinese Culture Centre in 2017, and at the Experimental Gallery in the Hong Kong Art Centre in 2019.

The first 5 images included are process pictures of the collaboration and the last two images are installation views of the project in exhibition at 41 Ross in San Francisco, which ran from May-July 2017. The PDF included is the publication made by Michelle Wong and myself, designed by Currency Design.
